Evoking a breath of fresh air that lasts until nightfall, Pour Un Homme de CARON Le Matin Eau de Toilette by Caron is an invigorating fragrance that offers a new freshness to the iconic lavender note found in Pour Un Homme de CARON. Modern and generous, it's the result of in-House perfumer Jean Jacques setting himself a challenge: to pay tribute to the predecessor while respecting its original spirit. To do this, he combined lavandin from Provence, which grows at low altitude from a traceable supplier, with CO2 ginger extract that has been obtained from a cold extraction process respecting the ingredient and producing a more faithful fragrance than those obtained through traditional extraction methods.
Founded in 1904 by Perfumer-Founder Ernest Daltroff and the visionary Félicie Wanpouille, CARON is a French Maison of High Perfumery. The meeting of these two minds gave rise to iconic fragrances. In 1919 came Tabac Blond. In 1934 came Pour Un Homme de CARON, the first men’s fragrance. For 120 years, the Maison’s creations have emerged of dualities between unexpected raw materials. Today, the entrepreneur Ariane de Rothschild and the in-house perfumer shine a light once more on these legendary fragrances. All the while, they innovate by composing singular, emotional elixirs. Such is the case of Tabac Exquis, Belle de Niassa and Musc Oli. This creative universe is exalted through sensorial, dreamlike imagery under the creative impulse of Maison Artistic Director Olivia de Rothschild.
