What’s an E-Gift card?

E-Gift Cards are a more convenient, electronic version of traditional plastic Gift Cards which you can gift to your beloved ones. You can top up any value you would like to gift (a minimum value of AED 150 or maximum of AED 20,000, or its equivalent in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia)


How to purchase an E-Gift Card?

You can purchase an E-Gift card by visiting this link. All you have to do is decide how much you’d like to top up your E-Gift Card by or select from predefined values, write yours and the giftee’s details and pay with a debit card, a credit card or PayPal. The E-Gift Card details will be sent to the giftee’s email address with the PIN.


I have an E-Gift Card, how can I use it?

There are two ways of using your E-Gift Card. First you can add your E-Gift Card to your account by clicking this link and then use it at the last step of the checkout which is the payment step. You can also use your E-Gift Card directly at the payment step where you add your 16-digit E-Gift Card number, the PIN and the amount you wish to use.


I forgot my E-Gift Card PIN

If you forgot your E-Gift Card PIN, don’t worry, please call our customer care team.


I purchased an E-Gift Card and I would like to change the value.

You cannot top up or change the value of your E-Gift Card.


I’ve sent the E-Gift Card to the wrong person/email, what do I do?

Please call our customer care team and they’ll be happy to assist. In this case, the team will check whether the E-Gift Card has been used and if not, they’ll issue you a replacement.


Which payment methods can be used to purchase an E-Gift Card?

You can use any payment method available on our website other than an E-Gift Card or any of our post-pay plans (i.e. Tabby or Tamara)


Do I earn Amber points on E-Gift Card purchases?

Yes


How will the recipient receive their E-Gift Card?

The recipient will receive the 16-digit E-Gift Card number and PIN via email.


Can E-Gift Cards be redeemed in-store at Bloomingdale’s?

Yes

What is Click and Collect?

Available in UAE and Kuwait only.

Our Click and Collect option gives you the flexibility to collect your online purchases from Bloomingdale’s stores as per your convenience.

Simply select the Click and Collect option when checking out with your purchase, and we will notify you via email and SMS once your order is ready for collection in-store at the At Your Service Desk. Please bring a copy of this email or SMS along with your government-issued ID (ID or passport copy).

Someone else can collect the order on your behalf as well, as long as they carry your ID and a copy of the required email or SMS.

The order will be available for collection at the At Your Service Desk for 7 days, after which we will refund the order if it hasn’t been claimed.

Click and Collect timelines

We do our best to get your Click and Collect order ready as quickly as we can.

We have a 2-hour timeline, which means that your order will be ready for collection 2 hours after your order is placed. Your order will be held in-store at the At Your Service Desk for 7 days, after which it will be refunded to you if left unclaimed.

Can I connect my Amber account to my Bloomingdale’s account?


Got an Amber card already? You can link your Amber account to your Bloomingdale’s account in three easy steps:


1) Log into your Bloomingdale’s account and go to the “Amber Rewards” section.

2) Enter your Amber card number or Amber-registered email.

3) Enter the verification code received from your email to link your account.


How can I collect Amber points on my purchases?


You can earn Amber points when you shop on Bloomingdale’s. Amber points are credited to your Amber account when you make the payment for your purchase. You will be able to see the points you earn when you’re checking out. To be able to do this, you need to have a Bloomingdale’s account and have your Amber card linked to it. Please note that returns and cancellations of items will cause a reversal for Amber points you may have earned against the item being returned or cancelled.


Amber promotions


As an extra perk of being an Amber member, you get access to secret sales and discounts. You can register for an Amber account at our stores or by using the Amber app to get access to these promotions.

Checking your gift card balance



You can check your gift card balance at any Bloomingdale’s store, or by registering your card here and going to “Check My Balance”.


Redeeming a gift card


You can redeem your Bloomingdale’s gift card by shopping on our website or in our stores. The value on the card is valid for one year from the date of top-up.


Buying a gift card


You can buy a Bloomingdale’s gift card at our Dubai Mall store and load it for any value. It is activated automatically and ready for use from the moment of purchase.


Registering your card


It is not required that you register your card to activate it. However, by registering your card, you can:


  • Check your gift card balance online
  • Track or replace a lost card

Gift card expiry


Bloomingdale’s gift cards expire 1 year after being issued. If you top-up your card, the expiry is extended to 1 year from the last top-up.

Can I manage my notifications from Bloomingdale’s?

You can manage your notification preferences from your account. Simply log into your account and go to “Communication Preferences”. From here you can subscribe or unsubscribe from different forms of messaging. Alternatively, you can get in touch with us and our customer service will be happy to assist you with managing your preferences.


What if I don’t want to create an account?

No problem. You don’t have to create an account to shop from Bloomingdale’s. Simply select the items you like and check out as a guest. However, we recommend creating an account if you would like to add items to your wishlist, track your favorite brands or claim Amber points for your purchases. Please also note that if you would like to return or exchange an item that you purchased as a guest, you will need to create an account to be able to request a return or exchange.


How do I reset my password?

If you’ve forgotten your Bloomingdale’s account password, you can reset it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link from the log-in page. A link to reset your password will be emailed to you. If you are logged in and would like to change your Bloomingdale’s password, you can do so from the “Account Details” section of your account.

If you’d like to receive the latest trends, offers and information direct to your inbox, you can subscribe to our newsletters and change your newsletter preferences from the “Preferences” section in your account.


How do I create a new account?

Creating an account with Bloomingdale’s is simple: you only need to register with your name and contact information and then create a password for your account. Having an account means that you can view your entire order history, return or exchange items that you’ve purchased and saved products in your wishlist. You can also securely store multiple delivery addresses and your preferred payment methods.

App login


If you already have a Bloomingdale’s account that you’ve created on the website, you can use the same login details to log into our app and access your account and order history. If not, you can create an account on the app by filling in your details, or via your Facebook or Google account.


Managing notifications


You can manage your app notifications by logging into the Bloomingdale’s app and going to the “My Settings” section.

Which payment methods do you accept for online orders?

We currently accept the following payment methods for orders placed on our website: Visa; Mastercard; American Express; PayPal; Apple Pay and, where available, cash on delivery. You can also choose to split your payments using Tabby or Tamara.


A Bloomingdale’s gift card, store credit and Amber points can also be used to make online purchases. The use of Amber points is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Amber Programme available here.


Can I track my order?

After you place an order with Bloomingdale’s, you can track your order from the Bloomingdale’s website and app. If you have created an account on Bloomingdale’s, you can sign into your account and track your order from the “My Orders” section.

If you placed your order as a guest, you can enter your order number and email address and then track your order.


How do I cancel an order?

As we do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, sometimes that means we can’t cancel or change your order if it’s already been prepared and shipped. However, there is a limited time after placing your order that you may be able to cancel or modify the items. You can do this from the “My Orders” section in your account.

If you placed your order as a guest, you can look up your order using your order number and email address to cancel your order.


How do I know which size to buy?

You can easily find your perfect size on Bloomingdale’s. You can convert US sizes to UK or international sizes before making your choice and product measurements are available in cm and inches.


Can I make changes to an order?

We do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible which means we can’t cancel or change your order once it’s been prepared and shipped. However, there is a limited time after placing your order in which you can cancel or modify the items should you need to. You can do this from the “My Orders” section in your account.

If you placed your order as a guest, you can use your order number and email address to make changes.


Can I create a wishlist?

A perk of creating an account with Bloomingdale’s is that you can add the items you love or would like to save for later to your wishlist. This wishlist is accessible in your account and you can add or remove items as you wish. You can also sign up to receive a notification when an item on your wishlist goes on sale.


How do I place a new order?

Placing an order on Bloomingdale’s is easy. You can browse different sections, select the items you like, choose from different size and color options and add the item to your basket and checkout. We support multiple payment methods and have different shipping methods for your convenience.


Can I have my order gift wrapped?

Buying someone a gift from Bloomingdale’s? You can now request for your items to be individually gift wrapped with a customized gift message. If you’re shopping online, just remember to select the “gift message” option for the items you would like wrapped before making your payment.
