An ode to inner freedom, Caron Atmah Parfum unfolds as a mineral vanilla reaching endlessly toward the horizon. Inspired by vast, luminous landscapes where light dances across silvery steppes, the fragrance captures a crystalline breath of air—pure, expansive and filled with quiet energy. Space and time seem to pause, giving way to a moment of deep fulfillment where freedom feels absolute, grounded and profoundly real. Named after Atman, the Sanskrit word for the vital essence and innermost spirit, Atmah embodies the connection between the individual and the universal. Elegant and soulful, it is an invocation of inner radiance—what Olivia de Rothschild describes as “the elegance of the soul,” carried by a legacy of freedom that continues to resonate today.
Founded in 1904 by Perfumer-Founder Ernest Daltroff and the visionary Félicie Wanpouille, CARON is a French Maison of High Perfumery. The meeting of these two minds gave rise to iconic fragrances. In 1919 came Tabac Blond. In 1934 came Pour Un Homme de CARON, the first men’s fragrance. For 120 years, the Maison’s creations have emerged of dualities between unexpected raw materials. Today, the entrepreneur Ariane de Rothschild and the in-house perfumer shine a light once more on these legendary fragrances. All the while, they innovate by composing singular, emotional elixirs. Such is the case of Tabac Exquis, Belle de Niassa and Musc Oli. This creative universe is exalted through sensorial, dreamlike imagery under the creative impulse of Maison Artistic Director Olivia de Rothschild.
