Patchouli and absinthe come together in Yatagan for a scent that's as daring as it is unforgettable from Caron. Warm spices, woods, and musk create a bold fragrance with a surprising twist of cypress and enigmatic frankincense. This confident blend radiates an exotic charm that’s both intriguing and provocative. Crafted by Caron's in-house perfumer, Jean Jacques, Yatagan offers a distinctive masculine signature scent that dares to stand out.
Founded in 1904 by Perfumer-Founder Ernest Daltroff and the visionary Félicie Wanpouille, CARON is a French Maison of High Perfumery. The meeting of these two minds gave rise to iconic fragrances. In 1919 came Tabac Blond. In 1934 came Pour Un Homme de CARON, the first men’s fragrance. For 120 years, the Maison’s creations have emerged of dualities between unexpected raw materials. Today, the entrepreneur Ariane de Rothschild and the in-house perfumer shine a light once more on these legendary fragrances. All the while, they innovate by composing singular, emotional elixirs. Such is the case of Tabac Exquis, Belle de Niassa and Musc Oli. This creative universe is exalted through sensorial, dreamlike imagery under the creative impulse of Maison Artistic Director Olivia de Rothschild.
